A league source tells NFLTR that Tennessee DL Kyle Phillips has worked out privately for the Titans and Chargers.
Phillips, 21, is a former five-star recruit, who played both edge and inside as a three-technique during his time at Tennessee. Draft analysts view him as a late-round prospect in this year’s draft class.
At his Pro Day, Phillips posted a 4.68 40-yard-dash time, a 2.72 20-yard-dash, a 1.66 10-yard-dash, 32 1/2 vertical jump, 09’07” broad jump, 4.77 short shuttle and 7.44 three-cone.
During his college career at Tennessee, Phillips recorded 111 tackles, 15.5 tackles for a loss, seven sacks, an interception returned for a touchdown, a forced fumble, a recovery and eight pass defenses over the course of 33 games.
