According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Alabama running back Trent Richardson is being “seriously considered” by the Rams with the sixth overall pick in the Draft.
Richardson visited St. Louis on Monday, as did LSU corner Morris Claiborne. The previous Monday, Oklahoma State wide receiver Justin Blackmon visited.
With the first three picks (Indianapolis, Washington and Minnesota) essentially being locks (Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III and Matt Kalil), pure logic tells you that St. Louis will be guaranteed one of the three. But if they have one specific prospect in mind, they may have to trade up, with Cleveland and Tampa Bay sitting ahead of them at #4 and #5.
