The Pittsburgh Steelers addressed their offensive line today by cutting G Nevin McCaskill and re-signing Trai Essex.
Injuries to Jonathan Scott and 2011 second-round pick Marcus Gilbert have left the Steelers hurting at left tackle so at the very least Essex provides some amount of continuity for their banged up offensive line.
Following the injuries to Scott and Gilbert, rumors began to surface that Flozell Adams could be re-signed but so far that idea has managed to gain much traction.
