In a recent interviewan appearance with Mike Missanelli on 97.5 FM in Philadelphia, Terrell Owens discussed the idea of possibly returning to the Philadelphia Eagles.
“Dude, of course! Everybody can speculate and they can think what they wanna think as far as what happened back then. But that’s not how it went down,” Owens replied. “I have no problems — if there was a situation where they needed a receiver — me coming there.”
Owens mentioned that he “would love to” return to the Eagles and added that “Andy Reid was one of the best coaches I’ve had. No doubt, hands down.”
At this point I’m sure that Owens would love to have any team show interest considering how hard it was for him to find work last season while healthy. Owens recent said that he wouldn’t be ready until after the first two or three weeks so that’s also going to impact the number of offers that he receives. You’d have to wonder whether the Eagles would even want him back after what had transpired some years ago.
