Titans Place DL Jeffery Simmons On COVID-19 List

The Tennessee Titans announced Saturday that they’ve placed DL Jeffery Simmons on the COVID-19 reserve list.

Here’s the updated list of Titans’ players on the COVID-19 list:

10. DL Jeffery Simmons

The COVID-19 list was created this summer for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.

Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.

In total, 16 members of the Titans organization have tested positive over the past week or so. 

Simmons, 23, if a former first-round pick by the Titans out of Mississippi State in the 2019 NFL Draft. He’s entering the second year of his four-year, $12,663,750 rookie contract that included a $7,230,00 signing bonus.

So far this season, Simmons has appeared in three games and recorded 12 total tackles, one tackle for loss, one sack, and one fumble recovery.
