Vaughn McClure of ESPN is reporting that the Titans are expected to sign free agent WR/KR Eric Weems to a contract.
McClure points out that by joining the Titans, Weems will reunite with his old position coach in Atlanta, Titans offensive coordinator Terry Robiskie.
Weems, 31, originally signed on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Bethune-Cookman back in 2007. He spent five years in Atlanta before signing a free agent deal with the Bears in 2012.
Weems lasted just two years in Chicago before he was released and later returned to the Falcons in 2014.
In 2016, Weems appeared in all 16 games for the Falcons, but did not catch a single pass. He did, however, total 391 kick return yards and 273 punt return yards for Atlanta.
