2018 Hall Of Fame Class

On Sunday, the list of 15 finalists for the 2018 Pro Football Hall of Fame class was reduced down five to go along with the Senior and Contributor selections.

Here’s a look at who made it into the Hall of Fame year:

Modern-Era Members:

  1. Ray Lewis, LB – 1996-2012 Baltimore Ravens
  2. Brian Urlacher, LB – 2000-2012 Chicago Bears
  3. Randy Moss, WR – 1998-2004, 2010 Minnesota Vikings, 2005-06 Oakland Raiders, 2007-2010 New England Patriots, 2010 Tennessee Titans, 2012 San Francisco 49ers
  4. Terrell Owens, WR – 1996-2003 San Francisco 49ers, 2004-05 Philadelphia Eagles, 2006-08 Dallas Cowboys, 2009 Buffalo Bills, 2010 Cincinnati Bengals
  5. Brian Dawkins, S – 1996-2008 Philadelphia Eagles, 2009-2011 Denver Broncos

Moss is a former first-round pick of the Vikings back in 1998. He played five teams during his 13-year NFL career including the Vikings, Raiders, Patriots, Titans and 49ers.

In total, Moss caught 982 passes for 15,292 yards and 156 touchdowns. Moss was a six-time Pro Bowler and made four All-Pro teams. He was offensive rookie of the year in 1998.

Lewis was taken in the first round of the 1996 draft by the Ravens. He played all 17 seasons for the Ravens and was a 13-time Pro Bowler, made seven All-Pro teams, won two Super Bowls and was defensive player of the year in 2000 and 2003.

For his career, Lewis recorded 1,562 tackles, 41.5 sacks, 19 forced fumbles, 20 recoveries, 31 interceptions, 81 pass defenses and three defensive touchdowns.

Owens is a former third-round pick of the 49ers back in 1996. He played for five teams over his 15 years in the NFL including the 49ers, Eagles, Cowboys, Bills and Bengals.

In total, Owens caught 1,078 passes for, 15,934 yards receiving and 153 touchdowns. He was a nine-time Pro Bowl selection and made five All-Pro teams.

Urlacher was taken No. 9 overall in the 2000 NFL draft by the Chicago Bears and he would go on to play all 13 years of his pro career in Chicago.

In total, Urlacher recorded 1,040 tackles, 41.5 sacks, 22 interceptions, 11 forced fumbles, 15 fumble recoveries, 85 pass defenses and four defensive touchdowns. He was an eight-time Pro Bowler, a four-time All-Pro selection and won the defensive rookie of the year award in 2000 and defensive player of the year in 2005.

Dawkins was selected in the second round of the 1996 draft by the Eagles. He played 16 seasons for the Eagles and Broncos and was a nine-time Pro Bowler and a four-time All-Pro selection.

For his career, Dawkins recorded 895 tackles, 26 sacks, 36 forced fumbles, 19 recoveries, 37 interceptions, 120 pass defenses, and three defensive touchdowns.
