Adam Schefter reports that Giants free agent OL Weston Richburg intends to sign a five-year deal with the 49ers when free agency opens.

The Jets had come up as the team to watch for Richburg, but it appears as though the 49ers were offering the best deal.

Richburg, 26, is a former second-round pick of the Giants back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $4,877,346 contract and made a base salary of $1,085,091 for the 2017 season.

In 2017, Richburg appeared in four games for the Giants and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 14 center out of 36 qualifying players at the time he was placed on injured reserve.
