49ers Re-Sign LB Mark Nzeocha To One-Year Deal

The San Francisco 49ers announced Friday that they have re-signed LB Mark Nzeocha to a one-year deal.

Nzeocha, 28, is a former seventh-round pick out of Wyoming by the Cowboys in the 2015 NFL Draft. He was entering the third year of a four-year, $2,344,348 rookie contract and was set to make a base salary of $615,000 this season when the Cowboys cut him loose coming out of the preseason.

Dallas later signed Nzeocha to their practice squad, but lost him to the 49ers a few weeks into the regular season.

Nzeocha was in line to be a restricted free agent in the coming months.

In 2017, Nzekocha appeared in 10 games for the 49ers and recorded three tackles and no sacks or interceptions.
