Bengals Sign CB Terence Newman

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Cincinnati Bengals have signed former Cowboys CB Terence Newman. NFL.com’s Jason La Canfora adds that Newman will receive a one-year contract.

There were reports that suggested that the Bengals could end up signing Newman a few weeks back, and since then, there hasn’t been a whole lot of interest in Newman on the open market so the move isn’t that surprising.

Last year, Newman tallied 4 interceptions for the Cowboys but his coverage was atrocious. Hopefully the Bengals can put him in better spots to be successful next season.
