The Indianapolis Colts announced Monday that they’ve signed TE Brandon Williams to a contract following his recent visit with the team.
Williams, 29, originally signed on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon back in 2013. He managed to make the 53-man roster in each of his first two years with the Panthers, but was unfortunately waived at the start of the 2015 season.
The Dolphins later signed him to their practice squad but elected to not tender him a restricted offer last offseason. Williams later signed a one-year contract with the Seahawks and finished out the year in Seattle.
In 2016, Williams appeared in all 16 games and caught two passes for 36 yards receiving and no touchdowns. Williams played a total of 158 snaps last year, according to Pro Football Focus.
