The Seattle Seahawks announced they have waived undrafted rookie RB Anthony Hankerson.

According to Matt Zenitz, Hankerson plans to enter the transfer portal and explore playing another collegiate season. He’s one of a number of players going this route after a recent case against the NCAA.
Hankerson, 22, started his collegiate career at Colorado before transferring to Oregon State and starting two years for the Beavers. He was named the PAC-12 top offensive performer in 2025.
The Dolphins signed Hankerson as an undrafted free agent following the 2026 NFL Draft but let him go in August. He caught on with the Seahawks.
During his four-year college career, Hankerson rushed for 2,761 yards on 625 carries (4.4 YPC) and 28 touchdowns to go along with 70 catches for 369 yards and another touchdown in 44 career games.
