The New York Giants announced Tuesday that they’ve signed LS Tyler Ott to their practice squad and placed DB Doran Grant on waivers, per Ralph Vacchiano.
The Giants’ practice squad now consists of:
- WR Geremy Davis
- WR Darius Powe
- OL Adam Gettis
- DE Stansly Maponga
- DE Ishaq Williams
- CB Donte Deayon (injured)
- OT Laurence Gibson
- LS Tyler Ott
- G Jon Halapio
- LB Eric Pinkins
- DB Michael Hunter
Grant, 23, is a former fourth-round pick of the Giants back in 2015. He was waived coming out of the preseason last year before later signing on to the Steelers’ practice squad.
Pittsburgh once again cut Grant loose coming out of the preseason and this time he signed on to the Bills’ practice squad. Unfortunately, the Bills waived Grant a few weeks into the season and he later signed on to the Giants’ practice squad
In 2015, Grant appeared in three games but did not record a single statistic.
