“Lot Of Buzz” About Chargers & QB Mason Rudolph

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports is reporting that he’s heard “a lot of buzz” about the Chargers possibly targeting Oklahoma State QB Mason Rudolph on Day 2.

According to La Canfora, Rudolph could end up being a trade target in round two.

During the pre-draft process, Rudolph visited with a number of teams including the Bills, Chargers, Saints, Giants, Steelers, Patriots and Bengals.

The Bills are clearly no longer in the picture to take a quarterback after trading up for Josh Allen last night, but the rest of the teams are at least worth watching on Day 2.

Rudolph, 22, spent four seasons at Oklahoma State. There was some buzz that he could be a first-round pick, but he’s now among the best available quarterback prospects entering round two.

During his four-year college career at Oklahoma State, Rudolph threw for 13,618 yards while completing 63.2 percent of his passes to go along with 92 touchdowns and 26 interceptions over the course of 42 games.

We actually have the Chargers taking Rudolph in our updated Second Round Mock Draft.
