The NFL has announced that they are expanding the rosters of each team from 80 players to 90 players. This change will go into effect as of tomorrow at 4PM ET.
This will end up creating an addition 320 jobs, but teams will ultimately have to cut their rosters down to 75 by the third preseason game. Essentially, it gives these extra 320 players a shot at winning a roster spot, but it’s not going to have an impact on the size of their regular season rosters.
