According to Herbie Teope, the 49ers are scheduled to host free agent DT Tyeler Davison for a visit on Friday.
Davison recently met with the Falcons, so it appears as though his free agent market is finally starting to pick up.
Davison, 26, was a fifth-round draft pick by the Saints in 2015 out of Fresno State. He signed a four-year rookie contract and was allowed to hit the open market as an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
In 2018, Davison appeared in 14 games for the Saints, recording 23 tackles, two sacks and one forced fumble. Pro Football Focus rated Davison as the No. 83 interior defender out of 112 qualifying players.
