-

Patriots
Cordarrelle Patterson was asked about possibly playing running back for them full-time and believes he could handle it.
โIf [RBs coach Ivan Fears] needs me to take 30 carries Sunday, I can take 30 carries,โ Patterson said, via NESN.com. โIf thatโs what he wants, I can do it for him. Just for him.
โAll season, I have to prepare myself for that. Thatโs a lot of big boys down there, and you get hit every play, so if I prepared myself for it, I think I can do it.โ
Patterson admitted that he would need to shift around some of his weight and add some muscle.
โThen I can handle it,โ Patterson said.
- Patriots LB Dont’a Hightower (illness) and DT Malcom Brown (calf) were both full participants in Friday’s practice and have been removed from the injury report.
