  • Jeremy Fowler reports that the Raiders will not trade Jackson Powers-Johnson and plan to play him at guard with Tyler Linderbaum at center.
  • Per Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer, it was important for DE Maxx Crosby to work with the Raiders as a trade was explored, and for the split not to become acrimonious. Breer says Crosby told the Raiders he still wanted to help them win even if he wasn’t playing for them.
  • His desire for an exit was cemented when the Raiders elected to go against two second opinions that Crosby collected to shut him down at the end of last season. Breer notes Crosby came out of a conversation with wellness director Alex Guerrero believing the Raiders iced him to try and lock up the No. 1 pick.
  • Crosby on leaving Las Vegas: “I feel like I left everything I had on the table for this team. I’ve given my heart and soul and I feel like I let y’all down, man. Ever since Day 1, I’ve wanted to create and build a winner with the Raiders.” (Garafolo)
