Chargers
-
The Chargers officially ruled out CB Trevor Williams (quadricep) for Week 1 and list LB Jatavis Brown (ankle), WR Geremy Davis (hamstring), and S Roderic Teamer (hamstring) as doubtful.
-
The Chargers also have K Michael Badgley (right groin), LB Denzel Perryman (ankle), and LB Drue Tranquill (back) down as questionable for Week 1.
Chiefs
- Chiefs signed WR Tyreek Hill to a three-year, $54 million extension. (NFLTR)
- The Chiefs officially list S Jordan Lucas (back) and DT Xavier Williams (illness) as questionable for Week 1.
Raiders
- On Friday, Antonio Brown rejoined the Raiders for practice and offered the following statement: “I’m excited to be out here today. I want to apologize to my teammates, the organization. Enough talk, man…ready for all the fans.“
-
Brown tells Dianna Russini that he did not call GM Mike Mayock a โcrackerโ and would never use that word, despite the report from earlier in the day.
-
According to Brown, things have been blown out of proportion: โI spoke with Mike Mayock 1-on-1, man-to-man.โ
- Pro Football Talk reports that Brownโs $1 million signing bonus was structured as a pair of $500,000 guaranteed workout bonuses for 2019 and 2020. This means that Brown still had to show up for at least 85 percent of the offseason program to get the $500,000 for 2019, but he’s now out this sum for not reporting.
- PFT adds that by keeping Brown on their roster for Week 1, the Raiders will have no way to avoid paying him $14.625 million this year.
