Bengals G Alex Redmond Suspended Four Games

According to Adam Schefter, the NFL is suspending Bengals G Alex Redmond for four games for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing drug policy.

The Bengals re-signed Redmond as an exclusive rights free agent earlier this offseason.

Redmond, 24, signed with the Bengals in 2016 as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA. He did not make the final roster, but the Bengals signed him to the practice squad for the season.

Redmond was re-signed by the Bengals on a futures deal for the 2017 season.

In 2018, Redmond started 15 games for the Bengals at guard. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 53 guard out of 77 qualifying players.
