Bengals Listening To Offers For LT Cordy Glenn

Tyler Dragon of the Enquirer reports that the Bengals are listening to trade offers for LT Cordy Glenn leading up to tomorrow’s deadline.

Earlier in the day, Jason La Canfora mentioned that Cincinnati doesn’t want to trade other than find a way to move Glenn.

Glenn was recently suspended by the Bengals after being fined $200,000 as the two sides have had friction over his return from a concussion suffered during the preseason. Glenn and a member of the coaching staff had a heated argument a few weeks, according to reports, which resulted in Glenn eventually telling HC Zac Taylor to just cut him.

Glenn was reportedly upset because he believes that the team rushed him back from his concussion.

Glenn, 30, is a former second-round pick of the Bills back in 2012. Buffalo traded Glenn to the Bengals last year as part of a pick swap.

Glenn is currently in the fourth year of his five-year, $65 million contract that included $36 million guaranteed and a $16 million signing bonus. He stands to make base salaries of $7.25 million (2019) and $7.5 million (2020) over the remainder of the agreement.

In 2018, Glenn appeared in 13 games for the Bengals and made 13 starts for them.
