Bengals Waive WR Jeremy Johnson, WR Conner Vernon, & DT Zach Minter

The Cincinnati Bengals announced Friday that they have placed WR Jeremy Johnson, WR Conner Vernon, and DT Zach Minter on waivers.

Johnson, 22, originally signed with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of SMU, but later caught on with the Bengals a week after New England placed him on waivers.

Vernon, 23, signed with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Duke last year, but wasn’t able to make the team’s final 53-man roster. Vernon later signed a future/reserve contract with the Bengals in December of last year. Cincinnati claimed him off of waivers a few weeks ago.

Minter, 23, is another undrafted free agent who ended up with the Bengals after he signed  a future/reserve contract with the Bengals in December of last year. Minter appeared in two games for the Bengals last year.
