According to Howard Balzer, the Cincinnati Bengals brought in seven players for workouts on Monday including six players from the CFL.
The full list includes:
- WR Reggie Begelton (CFL)
- P Richie Leone (CFL)
- DB Nick Marshall (CFL)
- LB Derrick Moncrief (CFL)
- CB Winston Rose (CFL)
- CB Marcus Sayles (CFL)
- K/P Kaare Vedvik
Of this group, the Bengals signed Vedvik to their practice squad.
This is the time of year where teams will host players for potential futures contracts after the season.
Rose, 26, wound up going undrafted out of New Mexico State back in 2016. He later agreed to a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Rams.
Rose lasted just a week in Los Angeles before he was waived and later signed by the Colts. Unfortunately, Indianapolis cut him loose coming out of the preseason and he later signed on with the Ottawa Redblacks of the CFL.
During his three years in the CFL, Rose has recorded 111 tackles, 14 interceptions and one defensive touchdown over the course of 40 games.
