Bills Promote WR Duke Williams From Practice Squad

The Buffalo Bills announced that they’ve promoted WR Duke Williams from their practice squad to the active roster on Saturday.

Williams, 26, originally signed on with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn in 2016 but was waived coming out of the preseason.

After a few years, the Bills signed him to a futures contract back in January. He was among their final roster cuts this offseason and re-signed to their practice squad once passing through waivers unclaimed.

During his college career at Auburn, Williams recorded 57 receptions for 877 yards receiving (15.4 YPC) and six touchdowns.
