Jeff Legwold of the Denver Post reports that the Broncos are considering Caleb Hanie and Billy Volek for the teams’ backup quarterback position.
Obviously, this will require Tim Tebow to be dealt but that figures to be coming in the near future.
Of the two options, Billy Volek would make more sense than Hanie after he struggled to do any for the Bears last season. Hanie is much younger, but the Broncos are in a win-now situation so you’d have to think that they would go with someone that’s capable of stepping in and performing right away.
