Broncos Re-Sign CB Taurean Nixon To Practice Squad

The Denver Broncos officially re-signed CB Taurean Nixon to their practice squad on Wednesday.

The Broncos practice squad now consists of:

  1. OL Dillon Day
  2. DT Kyle Peko
  3. OLB Vontarrius Dora
  4. TE Henry Krieger-Coble
  5. OL Justin Murray
  6. WR Kalif Raymond
  7. LB Quentin Gause
  8. TE Steven Scheu
  9. RB Terrell Watson
  10. CB Taurean Nixon

Nixon, 25, was taken in the seventh-round of the 2015 NFL draft. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but was later signed to their practice squad.

Denver promoted Nixon to their active roster back in January but was re-signed to the practice squad after being among the team’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.

The Broncos promoted him once again earlier this month but waived him to make room for WR Marlon Brown.

In 2016, Nixon has appeared in one game for the Broncos and recorded one total tackle.
