Broncos Waive WR River Cracraft, Promote WR Fred Brown

According to Troy Renck, the Broncos will waive WR River Cracraft and promote WR Fred Brown from the practice squad to the active roster.

Cracraft, 24, wound up signing on to the Broncos’ practice squad in 2017 as an undrafted free agent out of Washington State. He was released shortly after with an injury settlement but returned at the end of the season to the taxi squad.

Cracraft was released coming out of the preseason in 2018 and re-signed to the Broncos practice squad. He bounced on and off before finally being signed to the active roster in November.

In 2018, Cracraft appeared in eight games for the Broncos and caught one pass for 44 yards. He also added 43 kickoff return yards and 40 punt return yards.
