Buccaneers Place DB Jude Adjei-Barimah On Injured Reserve

The Tampa Buccaneers officially placed DB Jude Adjei-Barimah on injured reserve after his roster exemption expired on Monday.

  • The Buccaneers also signed OL Josh Allen to their practice squad and released DT Rodney Coe from the unit.

Adjei-Barimah, 24, wound up signing on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Bowling Green back in July of last year. He was waived coming out of the preseason but later signed to the team’s practice squad.

After a month on the taxi squad, the Buccaneers called Adjei-Barimah to their active roster. However, he was suspended four games for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing drugs policy

In 2016, Adjei-Barimah has appeared in all 10 games and recorded 22 tackles, two sacks, no interceptions, a forced fumble and two pass defenses of the Buccaneers.
