The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Wednesday that they’ve promoted WR Adam Humphries to their active roster after they lost WRÂ Louis Murphy to a season-ending injury.
- The Buccaneers also signed WR Andre Davis, G Ryan Groy, DT Derrick Lott and LB Julian Stanford to their practice squad.
The Buccaneers’ practice squad now consists of:
- WR Andre DavisÂ

- LBÂ Julian Stanford
- WR Rannell Hall
- DE Josh Shirley
- RB Mike James
- G Antoine Evertt
- TE Tevin Westbrook

Humphries, 22, wound up signing on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Clemson back a few days after this year’s NFL Draft. He was able to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason before he was placed on waivers a few weeks ago. Tampa Bay later signed him to their practice a few days later.
This season, he’s appeared in three games and recorded two receptiosn for 14 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
