Rand Getlin reports that there appears to be a three-team race for free agent S Chris Conte between the Buccaneers, Saints, and Giants.
Conte, 27, is a former third-round pick of the Bears back in 2011. He played out his rookie contract with the Bears before signing a one-year deal with the Buccaneers last year.
In 2015, Conte appeared in 14 games for the Bears and recorded 80 tackles, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and six pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 32 safety out of 88 qualifying players.
