Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Cardinals have claimed WR Cobi Hamilton off of waivers from the Texans on Thursday.
Hamilton, 27, is a former sixth-round pick of the Bengals back 2013. He was, unfortunately, unable to make the team coming out of the preseason during his rookie season but was later signed to the Bengals’ practice squad.
Hamilton had brief stints with the Eagles, Bengals, Dolphins and Panthers before he was signed by the Steelers in 2016. After returning to the Steelers on a future/reserve contract, Pittsburgh waived him at the start of the 2017 season and he later signed on to the Texans’ practice squad.
Houston placed Hamilton on waivers Wednesday.
Houston called him up in November and he finished out the year on their active roster.
