The Arizona Cardinals announced Friday that they’ve placed LB Dennis Gardeck on injured reserve and promoted TE Seth DeValve, K Mike Nugent and LB Terrance Smith to their active roster.
The Cardinals also signed K Brett Maher to their practice squad.

Gardeck, 26, signed with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Sioux Falls in 2018. He’s made the final roster each of the past three seasons.
In 2020, Gardeck appeared in 14 games for the Cardinals and recorded 14 total tackles, seven sacks and one fumble recovery.
