ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Arizona Cardinals have re-signed WR Larry Fitzgerald to a record 8-year contract which totals$120 million deal and includes close to $50 million guaranteed.
It’s been widely reported that the Cardinals were in very serious negotiations with Fitzgerald but the numbers are pretty surprising. This gives Kolb a dynamic player to grow with and help take pressure off of the other players in the teams offense. It would have been really tough loss had they lost him but they can now focus on other roster issues.
