Cardinals Signing WR Brice Butler To Two-Year Deal

James Jones is reporting that the Cardinals are signing former Cowboys WR Brice Butler to a two-year contract.

Butler was reportedly visiting with the Cardinals on Monday and it looks like they were able to hammer out a deal and prevent him from leaving to meet with other teams.

According to a recent report, Butler had visits scheduled with the Seahawks, Bears, and Jaguars over the next few weeks.

Butler, 28, is a former seventh-round pick of the Raiders back in 2013. He spent two years in Oakland before he was traded to the Cowboys for the 2015 season.

The Cowboys re-signed Butler to a one-year contract last year and was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.

In 2017, Butler appeared in 13 games for the Cowboys and caught 15 passes for 317 yards receiving and three touchdowns.

We had him featured in our Top 50 Available 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
