The Arizona Cardinals are bringing in five players for workouts this week, according to Aaron Wilson.
The full list of players who worked out includes:
- LB Kahzin Daniels
- TE Dax Raymond
- DT Daniel Wise
- TE Ian Bunting
- RB Khalfani Muhammad
Raymond, 25, wound up going undrafted out of Utah State last year. He later signed a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Bears.
Raymond was waived with an injury settlement coming out of the preseason and was later re-signed to the Bears’ practice squad last year. He eventually returned to Chicago on a futures contract for the 2020 season before being waived once again in April.
The Steelers signed Raymond to a contract this past July before waiving him with an injury designation a few weeks ago. He reverted to injured reserve after clearing waivers and was later waived with an injury settlement.
During his college career at Utah State, Raymond caught 72 passes for 873 yards receiving and three touchdowns over the course of 27 games.
Muhammad, 26, is a former seventh-round pick of the Titans back in 2017. He was waived coming out of the preseason and spent time with the Titans’ practice squad before eventually being promoted.
After being released by the Titans, Muhammad had a brief stint with the Patriots before being signed to the Broncos’ practice squad. Muhammad has been on and off of their taxi squad ever since.
During his college career at California, Muhammad rushed for 2,073 yards on 359 carries (5.8 YPC) to go along with 55 receptions for 571 yards receiving and 14 touchdowns over the course of four seasons and 44 games.
