The San Diego Chargers claimed TE Logan Stokes off of waivers from the Patriots on Wednesday, according to the NFL transactions release.
Stokes, 22, signed on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of LSU back in June. He was waived a few days later, but wound up re-signing with the Pats a few weeks ago.
The Patriots wound up placing Stokes on waivers Tuesday to make room for the TE Asante Cleveland, whom they traded for.
During his two years at LSU, Stokes appeared in just a single game and caught one pass for three yards and a touchdown.
