Chargers Sign WR Isaiah Burse To Practice Squad, Cut WR Jonathan Krause

The San Diego Chargers have signed WR Isaiah Burse to their practice squad on Thursday and waived WR Jonathan Krause from the unit, according to Eric D. Williams.

The Chargers’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. DT Kaleb Eulls
  2. OLB Ben Gardner
  3. S Adrian McDonald
  4. WR Dom Williams
  5. CB Trevor Williams
  6. TE Jake McGee
  7. WR Isaiah Burse
  8. OLB Chris Landrum
  9. TE Asante Cleveland
  10. TE Austin Traylor

Burse, 24, originally signed on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Fresno State back in May of 2014. He lasted just over a year in Denver before he was cut loose and later signed to the Steelers’ practice squad.

The Chargers elected to sign him to a future/reserve contract this past January before placing him on waivers earlier in the week to make room for RB Dexter McCluster.

In 2016, Burse has been active for one game but has yet to record a single reception.
