The Kansas City Chiefs announced that they’ve traded TE James O’Shaughnessy and pick No. 216 to the Patriots for the No. 183 overall pick.
O’Shaughnessy, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2015 .He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $2.473 million rookie contract that included a $166,252 signing bonus and stands to make base salaries of $615,000 (2017), and $705,000 (2018) over the remainder of the agreement.
In 2016, O’Shaughnessy appeared in all 16 games for the Chiefs, but caught just two passes for -1 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
