According to James Palmer, the Colts have promoted QB Stephen Morris from their practice squad to the active roster and waived WR Devin Street in a corresponding roster move.
Morris, 24, wound up signing on with the Jaguars as a priority undrafted free agent out of Miami back in May of 2014. He was unable to make the 53-man roster during his rookie season but was later signed to the  Jaguars’ practice squad.
The Eagles would later claim him off of waivers after he was once again unable to make the cut coming out of the preseason. After spending much of the year on the practice squad, the Colts later added him to their active roster towards the end of the year.
Indianapolis later waived Morris to make room for CB Rashaan Melvin but re-signed him to their practice squad just one day later.
Morris has yet to appear in an NFL game.
