Cowboys Rookie G Connor Williams Undergoing Knee Surgery

Todd Archer reports that Cowboys rookie Gย Connor Williamsย will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his right knee on Wednesday.

According to Archer, it’s possible that Willians could return in a few weeks for their game against the Falcons.

For the time being, Archer says the Cowboys will turn to either Adam Redmond or Xavier Su’a-Filo to replace Williams.

Williams, 21, was selected with the No. 50 overall pick in the second round by the Cowboys. He agreed to a four-year, $5,488,996 contract with the Cowboys that includes a $2,071,996 signing bonus.

In 2018,ย Williams has appeared in eight games for the Cowboys.

During his college career at Texas, Williams started 28 games and was a first-team All-American in 2016 before suffering a torn left meniscus and sprained PCL/MCL last season.
