The Dallas Cowboys have placed WR Brian Brown on waivers Wednesday, according to Rob Phillips.
Brown, 23, wound up signing on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Richmond back in May of last year. He was waived at the start of the regular season and was on and off of their practice squad over the remainder of the season.
Dallas elected to bring Brown back on a futures contract a few months ago.
During his college career at Richmond, Brown caught 247 passes for 4,203 yards receiving and 23 touchdowns. He also rushed for 168 yards on 21 carries over the course of four seasons and 52 games played.
