According to Adam Caplan, the Dolphins are hosting DE Connor Barwin for a visit on Wednesday.
Barwin was released by the Giants earlier this offseason one year into a two-year deal he signed last offseason. The two sides reportedly agreed to part ways after Barwin was unhappy with his role.
Barwin, 32, is a former second-round pick of the Texans back in 2009. He was entering the fifth year of his six-year, $36 million contract that included $8 million guaranteed when the Eagles released him in 2017.
Barwin played one season for the Rams before agreeing to a two-year contract worth up to $5 million with the Giants last year.
In 2018, Barwin appeared in 15 games for the Giants and recorded 12 tackles, one sack and four pass defenses.
