Dolphins Sign OT Kwayde Miller, Activated OT Avery Young From NFI List

The Miami Dolphins announced Friday that they’ve signed OT Kwayde Miller and activated OT Avery Young off the non-football injury list.

Young, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn back in May of last year. He was set to make a base salary of $540,000 for the 2017 season when the Saints cut him loose last month.

Young was, unfortunately, placed on the reserve/non-football injury coming out of the preseason last year. The Saints later cut him loose this past February and he caught on with the Dolphins a month later.

During his college career at Auburn, Young made 36 starts at right tackle and both guard positions. He was a third-team All-SEC selection during his senior season.
