The Miami Dolphins announced that they’ve signed CB David Rivers to a contract on Tuesday and waived OL Ryan Anderson.
Rivers, 24, originally signed on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Youngstown State in 2017. He lasted just a month in Green Bay before catching on with the Jets.
The Buccaneers signed him to their practice squad a few weeks into the regular season and he later had a short stint with the Dolphins before returning to Tampa Bay. Rivers was waived by the Bucs back in May.
In 2018, Rivers appeared in two games for the Buccaneers but did not record a statistic.
During his college career at Youngstown State, Rivers recorded 45 tackles, one sack, 3.5 tackles for a loss, one forced fumble, and an interception over the course of 25 games.
