Dolphins Worked Out Four Players

According to Howard Balzer, the Dolphins brought in four cornerbacks for workouts on Wednesday, including Adonis Alexander

The full list of tryouts includes:

1. CB Adonis Alexander
2. CB Andre Chachere
3. CB Picasso Nelson
4. CB Jayson Stanley

Of this group, Miami signed Stanley to their practice squad. 

Alexander, 23, was selected by Washington in the sixth round of last year’s supplemental draft. He signed a four-year rookie deal worth $2.6 million but was waived by the Redskins coming out of this year’s preseason.

Washington signed Alexander to their practice squad once he passed through waivers unclaimed. He was cut from their taxi squad earlier this month. 

Alexander played three seasons at Virginia Tech and recorded 125 tackles, 4.5 tackles for a loss, one sack, seven interceptions, 17 pass defenses, and a forced fumble over the course of 32 games.

Alexander has yet to appear in an NFL game.
