Eagles Place LB Ty Powell On Reserve/Retired List

The Philadelphia Eagles announced Thursday that they’ve placed LB Ty Powell on the reserve/retired list.

The Eagles just signed Powell to a contract a few weeks ago.

Powell, 28, is a former seventh-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2013. He lasted just a few months in Seattle before he was waived at the start of the season.

Powell later signed on with the Giants before the Bills added him to their active roster during the 2013 season. Powell finished out his rookie contract with the Bills, but found very little interest as an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

In 2014, Powell appeared in 14 games and recorded 14 tackles, one sack, and a pass defense.
