Jeff McLance of the Philadelphia Inquirer continues to hear that the Eagles “love” Virginia Tech CB Kyle Fuller.
- However, McLane doesn’t expect Fuller to be their when the Eagles are on the board at No. 22 overall.
- Ian Rapoport mentions that you can also add the Steelers to the list of teams who are very high on Fuller.
Both teams are believed to be in the market for either cornerback or possibly a receiver. It’s hard to say exactly when cornerbacks will start coming off of the board, but the Lions appear to be the team drafting the earliest who could target a defensive back.
After them, the Titans and possibly the Bears could also consider someone like Fuller.
If there has been one cornerback who has really began to move up boards in recent weeks, it has to be Fuller. Draft experts like Mike Mayock are now saying that he is in the argument for being the best cornerback in this year’s draft class.
Fuller really has an innate ability to play the ball better than any of the other cornerback prospects and also holds up well in coverage.
We have Fuller going to theย Chargers at No. 25 overallย in our most recentย 2014 NFL Mock Draft.
