Jeff McLane reports that Eagles WR Arrelious Benn suffered a torn ACL during Tuesday’s practice and is out for the season.
Benn, 24, was traded to the Eagles from Tampa Bay in return for a 2013 sixth-round pick and a 2014 conditional selection. Benn actually tore the same ligament back in 2010, so this is a pretty big concern for him moving forward.
Philadelphia also lost Jeremy Maclin to a season-ending knee injury, so it will be interesting to see what their receiving corps looks like to start the season.
