The Atlanta Falcons announced Wednesday that they’ve activated DT Tyeler Davison from the reserve/COVID-19 list and waived LB Ahmad Thomas.
Davison, 27, was a fifth-round draft pick by the Saints in 2015 out of Fresno State. He played out the final year of his four-year rookie contract before agreeing to a one-year contract with the Falcons last year.
The Falcons re-signed Davison to a three-year extension this past March.
In 2019, Davison appeared in all 16 games for the Falcons and recorded 55 tackles, one sack, and a fumble recovery. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 52 receiver out of 114 qualifying players.
