Hawkins, 26, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of East Carolina back in 2016. He managed to make the 53-man roster in each of his first two seasons in Green Bay, but was among their final roster cuts coming out of the 2018 preseason.
After a brief stint with the Panthers, Hawkins signed on to the Chiefs’ taxi squad and bounced on and off the unit before catching on with the Eagles. Philadelphia waived Hawkins coming out of the preseason in 2019.
Hawkins spent this past spring in the XFL with the Dallas Renegades. He recorded 11 tackles, four pass defenses and two interceptions in five games.
In 2018, Hawkins appeared in five games for the Panthers but did not record a statistic.
